The Story Behind Impossibilities
I 've been creating experiences at the edges of what people expect for over a decade. In private homes, country house hotels, festival tents, and rooms that didn't quite have a name for what they were hosting.
The work draws on a long fascination with the paranormal, the psychology of belief, and the Scottish mystical tradition — not as a costume to wear, but as territory to explore. What emerged from that exploration wasn't a show so much as a practice: a set of experiences designed to create the conditions for something real to happen in a room.
That something is different every time. Sometimes it's wonder. Sometimes it's the uncanny feeling of being genuinely seen. Sometimes it's a conversation that starts during the performance and doesn't finish until the drive home. I don't claim to know exactly what it is, only that it's worth making space for.
"I don't ask anyone to believe anything. I don't claim to have answers — only better questions."
The work has been recognised by the Prestige Scotland Awards, featured in The Times and The Scotsman, and performed for private clients, corporate events, and public audiences across Scotland and beyond. I'm a proud member of Equity and fully insured.
